New regulations govern the current cycle of the SRD R350 Grant. One regulation requires applicants to reconfirm their SRD applications every three months.
Why You Must Reconfirm the Sassa Application?
All SRD R350 grant applicants must reconfirm their grant applications at least once every 3 months. When you do the reconfirmation, you will be informing SASSA that you still need and qualify for the grant regarding the regulations.
Who Should Reconfirm Now?
If you applied for the SRD Grant about three months ago, you should be required to reconfirm your application.
How do I have to reconfirm my application?
After every three consecutive months, you have to reconfirm your application. Follow the steps below to confirm your application.
How to Reconfirm Sassa Application 2024?
Here are the steps to follow to submit your reconfirmation to Sassa:
- Step 1: Go to the SRD website here or click https://srd.sassa.gov.za
- Step 2: Scroll down to “Reconfirm your grant application.”
- Step 3: Click the yellow bar, “Click here to reconfirm your existing application.”
- Step 4: Enter your ID number
- Step 5: Enter your mobile number
- Step 6: Click send SMS; you will receive a One-Time Pin (OTP) via SMS
- Step 7: Enter the OTP
- Step 8: Click on verify pin
- Step 9: Follow the remaining steps to complete the process, then you are done.

Check Application Status:
