Fact About A Proper Bodybuilding Diet

Your diet is one of the most effective weapons to achieve maximum bodybuilding potential. In planning your bodybuilding diet, ensuring that it provides the nutrients you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and supply the body with the energy necessary to complete your desired exercise program is crucial.

Protein is the head of this list required in a proper bodybuilding diet. It is critical not only for building muscle but also for losing fat and for contributing to the overall health of our tissues and organs. Your diet should include 1 gram of protein for each pound of your body weight. Active bodybuilders should increase that amount to a gram and a half daily. Meat, fish, and milk are all excellent sources of protein.

A good diet will also include large quantities of carbohydrates, a significant source of our body's fuel for activity. Complex carbohydrates should be added here in your diet through starches and fiber. Complex carbs include pasta, whole-grain rice, bread, and potatoes.

Don't leave out the fats! They are an essential part of a good bodybuilding diet. We need fats to function correctly and efficiently. They are an energy source for the body and regulate most bodily processes.

The key here is to include good fats and try your best to minimize the bad fats. By "good fats," we are talking about unsaturated ones found in olive or flaxseed oil. An excellent rule to look for is that unsaturated fats remain liquid at room temperature. Saturated fats solidifying at room temperature tend to clog your arteries and lead to health problems. They should be avoided as much as possible. Animal lard and butter are examples of saturated fats.

Fibre is another crucial ingredient in a good diet. Fibre helps your body flush out impurities regularly and helps contribute to weight loss. Good sources of fiber include whole grains as well as nuts and seeds.

It would be hard to include too many vegetables in your diet. They contain essential vitamins and nutrients that your body needs to operate efficiently. Fruits may be a good source of fiber and certain nutrients but should be consumed in moderation. Some fruits tend to cause water retention and contribute a more significant amount of sugar than you would need.

Remember, a proper diet is as crucial to effective bodybuilding as the correct program. An effective bodybuilding diet is balanced and nutritious, with most protein and carbohydrates consumed in the morning. Rather than eating the traditional three large meals per day, eat five or six small meals daily to spread the benefits throughout your active day.

The Bare Facts on Running Barefoot

Running Barefoot

You may have seen them running through your neighborhood, in your local gym, or even out on the trails: the barefoot or minimalist runners. This fad is steadily gaining popularity and rapidly becoming a trend, with shoe companies scrambling to keep up (e.g., Nike Free, Brooks Pure, etc.).

The obvious question is, why would anyone want to put their feet through that? The answer is simple: this is how our feet were designed to run.

Like many others, my interest in barefoot running began when I read “Born to Run” by Christopher McDougall. He faced an injury that prevented him from running –an all-too-common problem among runners. The book tells how he overcame his injury by adopting running practices used by some of the world’s greatest distance runners: the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico’s Copper Canyon.

According to scientists, our feet helped us evolve into phenomenal distance runners. Each foot has 26 bones and over 20 muscles and tendons that help absorb impact and propel you forward. For example, your Achilles tendon and foot arch are designed to act like springs. When your foot hits the ground, it absorbs the energy of impact and uses it to push you forward.

Barefoot runners argue that the problem with modern-day running shoes is padding. All the extra cushioning in the heel allows runners to land heel first (heel-strike). When this happens, the foot and lower leg don’t absorb the impact. Instead, it’s sent up through the leg to the knee and hip, increasing your risk of injury.

Studies have shown that the percentage of injured runners hasn’t decreased since shoe companies introduced shoes with greater cushioning. In fact, it has remained constant at about 70 percent. In one military study, prescribing shoes according to foot type (i.e., low, normal, or high arch; stability, cushioned, or motion-controlled shoe) did nothing to decrease the injury rate. Scientists believe that a mid-foot landing is better for your joints. When you land on the ball of your foot (not your toes!), your Achilles and arch can do what they were designed to – absorb impact and propel forward.

It also allows you to run more efficiently because your momentum moves forward. In contrast, when your heel strikes, it’s like pumping the brakes in a car: every time that heel hits the ground, you slow down and have to work much more complicated (i.e., use more gas) to move forward.
Here are a few common questions about barefoot/minimalist running:

1) What’s the difference between barefoot and minimalist running?

Barefoot running is done barefoot. Minimalist running uses a flexible, thin-soled moccasin (e.g., Vibram Five-Fingers). The concept is the same, but the minimalist runner will have more protection from the ground.

2) Is barefoot/minimalist running right for you?

From an injury perspective, barefoot running can help with plantar fasciitis and shin splints. It can also help with any repetitive stress injury related to the impact of the heel strike shooting back up the leg. Although it may not be the answer for everyone, it’s a great cross-training tool to strengthen your feet and ankles.

From a foot/shoe perspective, wearing a motion-controlled shoe or having a flat arch doesn’t prevent you from barefoot running. However, you should make sure that your transition is slow to allow your arch and foot muscles to strengthen.

Consider your goals. If you’re training for a marathon or a personal record, it’s probably not the best time to introduce barefoot running. Making the switch indeed requires lots of patience and returning to running basics. If you don’t have the time and/or don’t want to invest the effort, this may not be the right option.

3) How should I transition into barefoot or minimalist running?

One word: SLOWLY. The muscles in your feet and legs need to adjust. Shoes have made our feet lazy, and our muscles must be woken up again. If you’re going entirely barefoot, the soles of your feet also need to adjust.

Build up to 30 minutes of walking barefoot (or in your minimalist shoes). Once you can do this, start to introduce running. Begin with one minute of running followed by one minute of walking. As your muscles get stronger, increase your reps (one set, two sets, three sets) and your running time (two minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes, etc).

Other helpful tips for easing the transition:

  • STRETCH – especially your calves and Achilles tendon. They’ll be doing the majority of the work and will need some attention, especially in the early days
  • Start by doing your warm-up or cool-down barefoot
  • Refrain from barefoot/minimalist runs on back-to-back days. Your muscles need time to recover. Once you get stronger, this is no longer an issue.
  • Relax into it, and don’t try to control your foot’s landing. Just feel the contact with the ground. Trust that your feet will naturally adjust because the heel strike will hurt.
  • Shorten your stride and focus on NOT reaching your legs forward – imagine yourself falling forward or kissing the ground with the balls of your feet.
  • If you wear a corrective shoe and are worried about going from one extreme to the other, gradually work your way down to barefoot running by replacing your old shoe with a less corrective one.
Like all things running, there are many different opinions about barefoot running. Although it’s been great for me, I also recognize that it may not work for everyone. Think of the foot/shoe spectrum (barefoot/minimalist, cushioning, motion control) like the jean spectrum (skinny, boot cut, flare, loose fit): not everyone looks good in every cut. You have to figure out which one works best with your body! Just remember to take it slow and listen to your body. More than anyone or anything, it will tell you whether minimalist running is proper for you.

Benefits of hiring a personal trainer for fitness

personal trainer for fitness

We usually make goals but need to figure out how to achieve them, and the reason for failure varies from being demotivated to being intimidated. In the hustle and bustle of life, we all know how essential our health matters and the importance of exercise in boosting our moods. But to achieve individual goals, you must also understand how personal trainers can help you attain your overall growth. That's why the role of a personal trainer is critical in assisting you to overcome these obstacles.

You can find a personal trainer that suits your personality and your budget. Discover the benefits only a personal trainer can provide to achieve your fitness goals.

Awareness

For maximum effectiveness, it is imperative to learn correct postures while exercising. It also reduces the risk of injuries during a workout. Your trainer will draft you a routine, guiding you through all you need to know about the exercise regime and ultimately benefit you in achieving your goals.

Inspiration

There are times when you may need help finding time for workouts due to your lifestyle. Whatever the reason is, you will have to face the challenge and get through it to hit the gym. Your time with your trainer will motivate and boost you to do more. Sometimes, all we desire is some support and motivation.

Responsibility

Accountability and responsibility are related to motivation. You must eliminate the "I will do it tomorrow" and "I cannot do that." Your trainer will put these terms out of the window. The more you stick to a plan, the better and faster the results appear.

Customized Plan

A myth about the trainers is that they make you go all the way – go heavy or go home. You need to tell your trainer precisely what you want, and they will develop a tailor-made plan. The fact is that your trainer will offer you realistic plans and remain focused on the goal.

Stimulating

There is no doubt that after a while, you may get bored. One of the reasons could be that you are still waiting for results. The job of a trainer is to take you to the next level and implement workout routines to keep you fresh. Our minds and bodies work best when challenged.

Diversity

A trainer's job is to develop plenty of variety in your training schedule. The plan could vary from bodyweight exercises with cardio or weight training. You should make each day in the gym count.

Aims

Start with the small goals, and gradually reach towards your bigger goals. A timetable helps you compare your desirable goal and current health status. The space in between is your workout evaluation.

Better Developments

Studies also suggest that people develop more strength with a trainer than working out independently. It is their job to push and motivate.

Flexibility

You get the benefit of your custom plans. Your trainer can appease you if you want to go in the daytime or late evening.

More Than Fitness

Your trainer is much more than just a fitness expert. Your trainer is no less than a therapist and helps you improve your well-being. They guide you on nutrition as well, which aids in relieving stress.

Good Habits

It is easier to develop new but much longer and more challenging to break old or bad habits. Your trainer is no less than an angel. They encourage you in the right direction and argue with you to keep you on track.

Training Plan

You will always have a set of exercises that you will love doing the most. Your trainer can also make a plan for your favorite workout sets.

Flexibility

You will rely on something other than the gym atmosphere or the crowd. Instead, your trainer can be available anywhere. Either at the comfort of your home or in the park. Wherever it suits you both.

The Perks

The benefits of personal training overshadow your doubts by a long shot and can help you achieve your goals. The utmost effort of a fitness trainer is to provide you with a fantastic experience.

The Final Words

So, it's time to wrap up for the day. It doesn't matter how much you have progressed during the day or the week. It's all about dedication and hard work. Your trainer will try and take you to the next level and continuously challenge you.

It's time to turn challenging goals positively with courage and passion. Find a professional personal trainer today to achieve your health and fitness goals.

C9 (Clean 9) starts! 9 days detoxing with pleasure.

Obesity in America

Obesity

Obesity and being overweight, while not the only essential focus on wellness, are significant contributors to the wellness crisis in America. Here's why:
  • 6 out of 10 people in the U.S. are overweight
  • 60 diseases are directly related to obesity
  • Obesity contributes to over 300,000 deaths per year in the U.S.
  • Obese people are discriminated against more frequently in employment.
  • Obese people are more limited in their options for social activities, which contributes to lower self-esteem, depression, and other psychological abnormalities.

What Causes Obesity

Factors that contribute to obesity include genetic history, psychological disposition, treatment for other conditions that can sometimes cause weight gain, and several others. While many factors contribute to the increasingly adverse effect that obesity is having on society, there are two that we believe play the most significant role in bringing about the epidemic we face. We live in a world of fast food restaurants that are bombarding us with ads and marketing campaigns, encouraging us to "Supersize" everything we order. These restaurants use chemical flavorings that help you consume more and more of their products, even when your body signals that it is satisfied. When you add that these more significant quantities of food being consumed contain large amounts of toxins and chemical preservatives and lack the nutritional value that the body needs to function correctly, it's easy to understand how obesity is getting out of control.

That's not the only contributing factor, though. We also have to consider the role that decreased activity plays today. Computers, technology, and the Internet have all caused us to be more sedentary in our daily routines. Things we used to go out to do, like entertainment, shopping, and even communicating with others, are all capable of being done over the Internet, and that has decreased the amount of physical activity we naturally get without thinking about it. Couple that with poor diets and stress from ever-pressurised work environments, and you have a perfect setting for obesity to flourish.

Psychological factors may also influence eating habits. Many eat in response to negative emotions such as boredom, sadness, or anger. Some illnesses can lead to obesity or a tendency to gain weight. These include hypothyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, depression, and some neurological issues that can lead to overeating. Also, drugs such as steroids and some antidepressants may cause weight gain. A doctor can tell whether there are
underlying medical conditions that are causing weight gain or making weight loss difficult.

What are the effects of obesity?

Obesity is more than a cosmetic problem; it is a health hazard. Approximately 300,000 adult deaths in the United States each year are related to obesity.

Several severe medical conditions have been linked to obesity, including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and stroke. Obesity is also related to higher rates of certain types of cancer. Obese men are more likely than non-obese men to die from cancer of the colon, rectum, or prostate. Obese women are more likely than non-obese women to die from cancer of the gallbladder, breast, uterus, cervix, or ovaries.

Other diseases and health problems linked to obesity include:

  • Diabetes, gallbladder disease, and gallstones
  • Liver disease
  • Osteoarthritis is a condition in which the joints deteriorate. This is likely the result of excess weight on the joints.
  • Gout, another disease affecting the joints
  • Pulmonary (breathing) problems, including sleep apnea, in which a person can stop breathing for a short time during sleep
  • Reproductive issues in women, including menstrual irregularities and infertility
  • Healthcare providers generally agree that the more obese a person is, the more likely he or she is to develop health problems.

Psychological and social effects

Emotional suffering may be one of the most painful parts of obesity. American society emphasizes physical appearance and often equates attractiveness with slimness, especially for women. Such messages make overweight people feel unattractive.

Many people think that obese individuals are gluttonous, lazy, or both, even though this is not true. As a result, obese people often face prejudice or discrimination in the job market, at school, and in social situations. Feelings of rejection, shame, or depression are common.

The Solution

Obesity is a severe problem to lick, primarily because of human nature. Most people have difficulty because human nature causes us to take the path of least resistance, which is to do nothing about it and allow our conditions to worsen. People tend to take action only when the pain associated with the thing is higher than the effort needed to correct it. But waiting until diabetes or some other disease consumes your health is not the time to address obesity. We need to take action to change the habits that lead to obesity, and that starts with recognizing the causes and being willing to modify the way we do things.

The first step to reversing the effects of obesity is to evaluate your eating habits and be prepared to make dietary lifestyle changes instead of "going on a diet." The results you get from most diets are short-lived, but making positive lifestyle changes that become lifestyle habits is the key to success in battling obesity. Start by evaluating what you eat. Are you eating a lot of fast food? Do you consume at least 64 ounces of water per day? Are you
eating larger meals? Do you properly supplement your meals with nutritional supplements that make sense? This is the most critical area to focus on because your body needs a proper healthy base to provide the energy and growth necessary to implement other plan components.

Unfortunately, even the healthy foods we eat don't contain sufficient quantities of the nutrients our bodies need to function correctly. One excellent way to get your dietary lifestyle changes off to a good start is to utilize a cleansing or detoxification system to help rid your body of toxins and put your metabolism into proper condition to begin burning more fat. Many systems out here will help you do that, but stay away from fasting
systems since these are notorious for having the weight return the minute you stop. Instead, seek a system that provides proper nutritional supplementation for your meals.

If you are sedentary, you must find opportunities to inject physical activity into your daily routine. That doesn't always mean joining a health club. Walking after meals or between activities can be very effective in helping you to burn off calories. If you take public transportation to work, try walking part of the way. Or, use part of your lunch hour to go for a walk. Walking can be an excellent activity to do with someone else, mainly since it allows you to socialize and exercise simultaneously. Naturally, formal exercise programs are great, too, but pay attention to the substantial effect that just adding a regular walking routine can have.

Strength training is one of the most effective ways to increase physical activity for two reasons, and here's why. Strength training helps you burn calories through the physical exertion necessary to the activity, and because added lean muscle mass burns more calories, even when you are at rest.

So, people with more muscle burn off more energy even when sleeping. We recommend looking at Static Contraction Training because of its effectiveness and the minimal time it takes to complete the routine. Getting stronger quickly will allow you to concentrate more on your dietary lifestyle changes.

Conclusion

Any action you take is better than no action, so don't allow apathy to be your undoing. If you have to start gradually, get started. If

If you are grossly overweight, be sure to check with your physician before beginning any lifestyle changes, workout routine, or dietary modification.

Truth About Vitamins

Vitamins

Every day, Americans spend millions of dollars on vitamin supplements in hopes of replacing the nutrients we don't get from our diets, even when eating healthy selections, but do we really know what we are getting when we buy food supplements?

"There never was anything in the world that some man could not make a little worse and sell a little cheaper. Those who consider price only are this man's lawful prey." - John Ruskin.

The answer to that question is a resounding no! Why is this important? Because all vitamins are not created equal! For those of us who are conscientious enough to take vitamin supplements, it's essential to know what you are buying because it doesn't make sense to accept them if they will be effective. This article will walk you through what vitamin manufacturers don't tell you about their products so you can make healthier choices for yourself and your family.

  • Vitamins come in three necessary forms: Natural, Crystalline, and Synthetic. We will define these terms briefly, but as you might suspect, natural vitamins are the most desirable because they come to you the way nature intended them to be found in the foods you eat (or those you don't eat!). They are more expensive because of the cost associated with extracting them and preserving them in their natural state, but they are also more effective in potency and being absorbed and used by the body the way the body expects.

Crystalline vitamins are derived from natural sources but have been chemically treated with solvents, heat, and other distillation methods to reduce them down to one specific pure crystalline vitamin or amino acid, and hence, they are no longer entirely natural. Vitamins in this form typically lack some of the enzymes, co-enzymes, minerals, mineral activators, and other substances that work with vitamins to be absorbed by the body. Vitamins in this class are more expensive than synthetic vitamins but less costly than natural vitamins.

Finally, scientists create synthetic vitamins in a laboratory and reconstruct the crystalline structure of vitamin molecules by combining them from other sources. Chemically, there is no difference between synthetic and crystalline vitamins. But, these vitamins are lacking in the other substances found in nature that work with vitamins to make them complete when the body puts them to use. Of course, most vitamins today are synthetic because of the substantial cost savings to the manufacturer in the production process.

These distinctions are important because some vitamins, no matter how perfectly duplicated in the laboratory, are just not as effective as their natural counterparts, and none of them contains all the things nature intended to accompany them. So, we must take them in larger doses to get as close to the same effect as the natural counterpart. Of course, this leads to its own problems since some vitamins are toxic at higher dosages, and in some cases, it's just throwing money away to increase the dosage because the body rids itself on what it can't use.

All vitamins in their natural state occur in complexes. "Complexes" comes from the word complexus, meaning interlaced or intricate, which means puzzling, detailed parts. Vitamin complexes are composed of various interconnecting elements that function together. In other words, they don't work independently of the other parts. You can't take an individual piece of vitamin and expect it to work without re-combining it with the other parts. Vitamin complexes comprise many parts- trace minerals, associative vitamins, enzymes (those parts that do the work of the vitamin), etc. Synthetic vitamins are individual, isolated parts without the other naturally occurring helpers. It's those other parts that make the difference in you getting results.

One example of this phenomenon is Vitamin E. Researchers have long known that natural vitamin E, milligram for milligram, is about 36 percent more potent than the synthetic form of the vitamin. In fact, the "international unit," or IU, the standard was developed to compensate for these differences.

However, two new studies using different groups of people - not laboratory animals - have found that natural vitamin E is utilized twice as efficiently as the synthetic form. "Natural vitamin E may cost twice as much, but you get twice as much bang for your buck," Graham W. Burton, PhD, told The Nutrition Reporter. Burton, a researcher at the National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa, directed one of the studies.

In the study, Burton and his American colleagues gave five healthy men and women 30 mg of vitamin E, which was half natural and half synthetic. The same people took an identical vitamin E supplement for eight days a month later. Another five subjects took a 300 mg dose of vitamin E, which was also half natural and half synthetic. They made an identical vitamin E supplement for eight days a month later.

By biochemically labeling the natural and synthetic vitamin E supplements, Burton and his colleagues were able to tell them apart and to also distinguish dietary vitamin E. While natural and synthetic vitamin E were absorbed equally well through the digestive tract, the liver selected for the natural form over the artificial: blood levels of natural vitamin E were consistently twice those of the synthetic form.

"We found that blood and organ levels of natural vitamin E were almost double those of synthetic vitamin E, and they were consistently so," Burton explained. "The beauty of this study design is that each participant served as both a control and experimental subject."
A similar trend was found in the blood of 22 surgical patients given the half-natural, half-synthetic vitamin E supplements for up to six weeks and in two terminally ill patients given the supplements for one to two years.

Tissue levels of natural vitamin E - based on organs removed during surgery - also increased compared with the synthetic. However, it took at least a year or two for the 2:1 natural-to-synthetic ratio to develop in tissues.

In the other study, Robert V. Acuff, MD, of East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, gave vitamin E supplements - again, half natural and half synthetic - to 15 pregnant women five days before giving birth. At delivery, natural vitamin E levels in the mothers' blood were consistently double those of the synthetic vitamin. Furthermore, natural vitamin E levels in the placental cords were almost 3.5 times higher than the synthetic form.

The bottom line is that price should not be the primary focus when selecting vitamin supplements. If a thing is worth doing, it's worth doing right, and nowhere is that more important than with your health. Remember, "God made naturals - MAN made synthetics.
In which will you put your trust?"

Fitness for Children - foundation for a long healthy life

Physical activity is an integral part of your child's life; it tremendously impacts physical, intellectual, and emotional development. As adults, we are responsible for being role models for our children, sharing with them the pleasures and benefits of a physically active lifestyle. Developing a love of sports and a habit of regular physical activity as a child can be the foundation for a long, healthy life.

With child obesity reaching epidemic levels, there has been no more critical time than now to focus on child and adolescent fitness. These problems are exacerbated by our more sedentary lifestyles, with children being content to sit in front of computers all day instead of joining sports teams and other physically demanding activities.

Proper nutrition also is essential for your child. As with physical activity, you are a role model. Your child will likely follow your example when you choose and prepare healthful foods. The first step toward helping your child eat a healthier diet is making various nutritious foods available at home. That way, your child can choose what he or she likes.

Make family meals a priority, beginning with breakfast. Breakfast is outstanding because it provides a significant part of a child's daily energy supply. Children who eat breakfast are better nourished and are more likely to meet their daily need for specific essential vitamins and minerals than breakfast skippers. Parents should keep an assortment of convenient, nutritious breakfast choices available and within easy reach of their children. The best options are high-carbohydrate, low-fat foods like cereal or cereal bars, low-fat milk, and fruit.

Getting involved in your child's diet and fitness routine will show your support, help foster a great relationship, and lay a foundation for
being fitness-minded for many generations.

What Parents Can Do

Here are some other activity tips you can follow:
  • Monitor TV watching, computer games, and computer time other than homework. Set a limit -- an hour a day -- on TV watching.
  • Make sure kids have time to be outside.
  • Plan outdoor activities as a family.
  • Enroll kids in after-school gymnastics, soccer, or swimming programs.
  • Join a gym with a child activity program. More and more health clubs are doing this.
  • Walk around the neighborhood with the kids after dinner.
  • Make yard work a game that the kids participate in.
  • Make healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables available in the home.
  • Find alternatives to fast food.
  • Starting in the toddler years, limit the child's juice intake.
Provide easy-to-eat snack alternatives. Have cut-up celery and carrots on hand. Don't entirely deprive kids of less healthy snacks. Kids who feel deprived are more likely to gorge on these foods when they can get their hands on them. Moderation is the key.

Remember where your kids learn about a healthy lifestyle.

Fitness for Seniors - Physical fitness is important at any age

Physical fitness is necessary at any age, so seniors should not consider abandoning physical activity acceptable. In fact, regular physical activity is more important than ever as we age, even if we can't continue at the activity levels we achieved when we were younger.

As we age and allow ourselves to become less active, we start to deteriorate literally from lack of use. Atrophy sets in quickly when muscles are not involved. Bones begin to lose density when they are not challenged with sufficient load, and naturally, the more these things occur, the higher the opportunity for sickness to set in. Even a minor illness can have long-term debilitating effects when you are out of shape.

Virtually any activity that is appropriate for average individuals is suitable for seniors. That means walking, swimming, weight training, martial arts, cycling, etc. You may not be able to run a marathon or set weightlifting records, but every effort you make to remain active preserves your health and prolongs your healthy life so you can enjoy your family and friends.

Here are some things seniors can do to increase their physical activity level:

  • Handle yard work yourself instead of hiring a neighborhood kid to do it.
  • Walk to the store instead of driving.
  • Go to your local mall early in the morning during the weekday and walk in a circuit, using the steps to go from level to level. It's okay to window shop while you are there, but stay away from the fast food wing!
  • Adopt a stretching routine to remain limber.
  • Adopt a resistance training routine, preferably at a gym, but at least something you will stick to at home, like a home gym, dumbbells, or anything else you can do on your own or with a partner.
  • Get a workout partner to take walks and hold you accountable for your fitness goals and routine.
  • Take your pet for a walk instead of leaving it in the yard.
  • Coach a children's sports team. That's enough to keep you young!
The main thing is to get up and do something. Don't settle for sitting on the couch watching television. If you keep yourself fit, your grandchildren and you will enjoy the beautiful years you have to give them. So, get up and do something!
